    How we're paid

    A single success fee, a progressive percentage of the final sale price from 10% down to 3% as the price rises. No retainers, no upfront fees, nothing due until you close. If you bought a paid valuation, it is credited against the fee.

    What does it cost, and do I pay anything upfront?

    Nothing upfront. No retainers. We work on a success fee that is a progressive percentage of the final sale price (from 10% down to 3% as the price rises). You only pay when your business actually sells.

    How do you value my business?

    We use your real, normalized financials (SDE/EBITDA with add-backs) against live comparable transactions and current market multiples. We give you an honest, defensible number, not an inflated promise to win your listing. Sometimes that number is lower than you have heard elsewhere, but it is the one that gets to closing.

    Will my employees, customers, or competitors find out?

    Not from us. The business goes to market blind, your identity is protected behind an NDA, and sensitive details are released in stages through a secure data room only to qualified buyers. Confidentiality is the core of how we run a process.

    Do I have to deal with buyers directly?

    No. Every inquiry comes to us first. We filter and qualify, answer what we can on your behalf, and only bring you the serious, vetted conversations. You are never fielding cold calls or tire-kickers.

    Who are the buyers?

    Vetted operators, funded searchers, family offices, and private equity, plus strategic acquirers in your space. Each is screened for proof of funds and genuine intent before they see your details.

    How long does it usually take?

    Most lower-middle-market deals run roughly 6 to 9 months from go-to-market to close, depending on size, complexity, and how buyer-ready your financials are. Strong preparation up front is the biggest lever on timeline.

    How involved do I need to be?

    Lightly, in the right places. We handle marketing, buyer screening, and process management. Your time is mostly the kickoff, a handful of buyer meetings we curate, and diligence. You keep running the business.

    What if it does not sell?

    You owe us nothing. Because we are paid only on a successful close, our incentive is fully aligned with yours: get the deal done at the best price and terms.
