    BridgeBook provides M&A advisory services, operates an online marketplace for buying and selling online businesses and digital assets, and offers educational digital products. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our Platform and services, including our website, mobile applications (if any), and any related services, sales, marketing, or events (collectively, the "Services").

    Identity Verification Information: To verify your identity, we may collect government-issued identification documents (such as passport, driver's license, or national ID), photographs or selfies, and proof of funds documentation (such as bank statements or financial institution letters).

    Seller Business Information: If you list a business for sale, we collect business financial information including profit and loss statements, tax returns, bank statements, business descriptions, traffic and revenue data, and other information necessary to market and sell your business.

    Buyer Information: If you are a prospective buyer, we collect information about your acquisition criteria, investment capacity, and background information necessary to evaluate your suitability as a buyer.

    Payment Information: When you make a purchase or pay fees, we collect payment information including credit card numbers, bank account information for ACH transfers, billing address, and transaction history. Payment card information is primarily processed by our payment processor, Stripe, though we may store certain banking information for ACH transactions.

    Digital Product Purchase Information: When you purchase digital products (courses, guides, templates), we collect your purchase history, BridgeBook Credits balance and redemption history, and content access records.

    Communications: We collect information when you contact us, including the content of your messages, emails, chat communications, and call recordings. We record calls for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes, and you will be notified before any call is recorded.

    Document Submissions: We collect documents you submit through our Platform, including signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent, purchase agreements, and other transaction-related documents processed through our document signing system.

    2.2 Information Collected Automatically

    When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information:

    Device and Usage Information: We collect information about your device and how you interact with our Services, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring URLs, and access times.

    Location Information: We may collect general location information based on your IP address.

    SMS Consent Privacy: Your SMS consent is never shared with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or share your phone number or SMS preferences with any external organizations, advertisers, or partners. SMS communication is managed exclusively by BridgeBook and our SMS service provider, Twilio, solely to deliver communications you have explicitly consented to receive.

Buyers may receive seller business information and financials after executing an NDA. Both parties will have access to transaction-related documents and communications.

These technologies help us analyze traffic patterns, measure how our valuation tools are used, identify popular content, and improve our Services. If you submit your contact information through the Platform, analytics activity may be associated with that contact information so we can serve you better. On our valuation calculator pages, PostHog also records how you use the page, such as scrolling and clicks, so we can make it easier to use. What you type is hidden in these recordings, and they're deleted after 30 days. We don't record other pages.

    Advertising Cookies: We use cookies from Google Ads and Facebook/Meta to deliver targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies may track your activity across different websites.

    Functional Cookies: These cookies remember your preferences and settings to provide a more personalized experience.

    If you are located in the United Arab Emirates, you have rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing activities.
